Mark Pinsley is a military veteran and the Lehigh County Controller, where he has built his reputation taking on tough problems and putting taxpayers first: working to lower prescription drug costs, protecting taxpayer dollars, and blowing the whistle on medical malpractice that wrongly separated children from their families. ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Chris Thomas is a political outsider who believes government should work for the people, not the powerful. Chris comes from a family of veterans, coal miners, educators, and corrections officers. He started his work in construction before becoming a middle school math and science teacher, then moved from the classroom into community organizing, building grassroots power across Montgomery and Berks Counties. A volunteer firefighter, Chris will go to Harrisburg to take on bought-and-paid-for career politicians: bringing down costs for regular Pennsylvanians, pushing back against corporate greed, fighting predatory bank fees and junk fees, cracking down on price gouging by big pharma and insurance companies, and passing strict rules that require any data center built in Pennsylvania to pay its own way so its electricity costs are never passed on to ratepayers.

Eileen Hartnett Albillar (D) v. Frank Farry (R, inc.)

Eileen Hartnett Albillar has made a career out of giving back. A social worker for 25 years, she has advocated for homeless youth, administered millions in state and federal funding to expand access to housing, and helped families lower their utility costs. In Harrisburg, she will fight the rising cost of living by holding big pharmaceutical, health insurance, utility, and tech companies accountable: making them pay their fair share and preventing them from price gouging.

| Frank Farry’s law firm represents data centers. At the same time, Farry voted to give data centers tax breaks, even while the leader of his party made money from a $30 million property sale to build a massive data center project . Farry also voted to protect the record profits of the monopoly utility companies that are passing data center costs onto consumers, opposing efforts to limit utility shutoff and reconnection fees and to extend utility payment plans. And while Bucks County families pay more for everything, Farry’s vote gave Pennsylvania the highest gas tax in the entire nation . ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Brian Wrightson lives in Archbald and is a lifelong Northeastern Pennsylvanian who is running for State Senate because life has become too expensive for too many people. A small business owner, Brian spends his days building the infrastructure that connects the most rural parts of Wayne and Monroe Counties to broadband internet so regular Pennsylvanians can get ahead and our small businesses can compete. A former Director of Emergency Services for the American Red Cross, he oversaw disaster response in 10 counties across Northeast Pennsylvania. In Harrisburg, Brian will be an advocate for us: refusing corporate PAC dollars and calling for an outright ban on data center construction because of its impact on utility prices and water supplies.
